Case Sod Buster Jr SS Black coltello

The Case Sod Buster Jr SS Black strips the traditional pocket knife down to its working essence: a single skinner blade, a rugged black synthetic handle, and nothing you don’t need. Where multi-blade folders add bulk and complexity, this knife keeps it lean—one satin-finished Tru-Sharp stainless steel blade, a reliable slipjoint mechanism, and a compact 92 mm closed length that disappears into a pocket. It’s a no-nonsense tool built for everyday cutting, from opening packages to field dressing, with the heritage of Case’s American craftsmanship behind every edge.

In daily use

The Sod Buster Jr’s slim profile and smooth Delrin handle make it easy to carry all day without noticing it’s there. The skinner blade excels at slicing and detail work, and the flat grind ensures clean, controlled cuts. The slipjoint mechanism provides enough resistance to keep the blade open during use while allowing safe one-hand closing. There’s no pocket clip, so it rides deep in the pocket or in a pouch, just like a classic traditional knife should.
