Cassetta pignoni per bici Shimano CS-R7000 acciaio 284 g

The Shimano CS-R7000 Steel cassette is designed for road bicycles and for mixed-surface riding where reliable shifting and durable construction are required. Constructed from steel and weighing approximately 284 g, this cassette complements the Shimano 105 R7000 groupset and offers a range of road and mixed-surface sprocket ratios. It is compatible with HG-EV and HG-X11 chains.

Advantages

The steel construction provides durability and consistent performance over time, while the 284 g weight balances strength with a relatively low mass for a steel cassette. Compatibility with HG-EV and HG-X11 chains ensures smooth engagement with modern 11-speed drivetrains. The range of available ratios allows selection for pure road use or mixed surface conditions.

Suitable for

• Road bicycles with Shimano 11-speed drivetrains
• Cyclists using the Shimano 105 R7000 groupset
• Mixed-surface riding where a durable steel cassette is preferred
• Replacement or upgrade of existing HG-EV / HG-X11 compatible cassettes

How to use

Install the CS-R7000 cassette on a compatible Shimano 11-speed freehub body following standard bicycle cassette installation procedures: remove the rear wheel, slide the sprockets and spacer (if present) onto the freehub, and tighten the lockring to the manufacturer’s torque specification. Refit the wheel and check chain alignment and derailleur indexing, adjusting limit screws and cable tension as needed to ensure smooth shifting.

Recommendations

For best results, use the cassette with HG-EV or HG-X11 chains and the Shimano 105 R7000 groupset. Regular cleaning and appropriate lubrication will extend sprocket life; inspect for wear and replace the cassette when shifting becomes unreliable or chain stretch exceeds recommended limits.
