Cavalletto laterale per bicicletta FISCHER 85990 regolabile 50,80–71,10 cm per biciclette da 20–28 pollici

Adjustable bicycle side stand FISCHER 85990 offers a practical frame-mounted support for bikes with 20–28 inch wheels. With an adjustable length range of 50.80–71.10 cm, the stand allows correct bike angle and stable parking on different surfaces. The mechanism folds compactly against the frame during riding and is designed for everyday use, commuting and storage without affecting pedal or wheel clearance when mounted in the correct position.

Advantages

The side stand features a simple, tool-assisted adjustment that secures the chosen length and maintains stability on asphalt, compact gravel and paved paths. Its frame-mounted design keeps the centre of gravity close to the bicycle, minimising the risk of tipping. The foldable construction reduces interference while riding and the robust foot provides reliable support on most surfaces.

Suitable for

• City and commuter bicycles with 20–28 in wheels
• Folding or compact bikes where adjustable length is required
• Short-term parking at home, work or public places
• Light touring and everyday errands

Key specifications

• Adjustable length range: 50.80–71.10 cm
• Compatible wheel sizes: 20–28 inches
• Mounting: frame-mounted side stand
• Construction: foldable leg with secure locking mechanism
• Foot type: broad support foot for stability on varied surfaces

How to use

Mount the side stand to the designated frame attachment point following the bicycle manufacturer's guidance. Adjust the leg length to achieve an upright, stable parking angle by loosening the adjustment clamp, sliding the leg to the desired length within the 50.80–71.10 cm range and retightening the clamp to secure the setting. Fold the stand up against the frame before riding to avoid contact with pedals or the ground.

Recommendations

Ensure the stand is mounted on a solid part of the frame and check the fastening bolts regularly for tightness. Select a length that provides a slight backward lean to the bicycle for best stability. Avoid using the stand on very soft ground where the foot may sink; if necessary, place a small board under the foot for improved support. Periodically inspect the locking mechanism and foot for wear and replace parts if stability is compromised.
