Cavo ACT DisplayPort 5 metri connettore maschio - connettore maschio, Pin 20 collegato

The ACT AK3982 is a 5-meter DisplayPort male-to-male cable designed to transmit high-quality digital video and audio between DisplayPort-enabled devices. With DisplayPort connectors on both ends and a power pin 20 connection, this cable enables reliable signal transfer over an extended distance while maintaining a compact black design suitable for home, office, and studio environments.

Advantages

This DisplayPort cable provides a stable connection for video and audio without intermediary adapters. The 5 m length allows flexible placement of monitors, projectors, or source devices while keeping a single-cable solution for data and audio. The black outer jacket delivers a discreet appearance and straightforward cable management across different setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers or workstations to external monitors
• Linking laptops or mini-PCs to DisplayPort-capable displays
• Setting up projectors or presentation systems in offices and classrooms
• Gaming rigs and professional graphic workstations requiring long cable runs
• AV installations where a single cable must carry both video and audio

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector type: DisplayPort male to DisplayPort male
• Power pin: pin 20 connection
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort male end to the DisplayPort output on the source device and the other end to the DisplayPort input on the display or projector. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until they click or feel secure. When using devices with DisplayPort power pin support, the pin 20 connection will maintain proper signal and power negotiation. For best results, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the ACT AK3982 with DisplayPort-compatible devices and make sure firmware and graphics drivers on source devices are up to date. Avoid tight loops or sharp kinks in the 5 m cable and secure excess length with cable ties or management clips to minimize stress on the connectors.
