The DeLOCK Active USB Type-C to HDMI Cable 85970 allows connecting an HDMI monitor or TV to a laptop or PC with a USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. This active cable supports up to 4K resolution at 60 Hz, has a 2 m length and a black jacket with a 4.7 mm diameter for flexible placement between devices.

Advantages

The cable provides reliable transmission of video signals up to 4K@60 Hz without requiring additional adapters or power sources when used with compatible ports. Its active design supports stable compatibility with USB-C ports that implement DisplayPort Alternate Mode. The 2 m length offers convenient distance between the source device and the display while the compact USB Type-C and HDMI connectors fit standard ports.

• Connecting a MacBook, Chromebook or laptop with USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 to an HDMI monitor or TV

How to use

Connect the USB Type-C end to the computer or laptop USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Insert the HDMI end into the HDMI input of the monitor or TV. Select the correct input source on the display and, if necessary, configure the display settings on the computer to use the external monitor at the desired resolution and refresh rate.

Recommendations

Use with devices whose USB-C port explicitly supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode; otherwise video output will not be available. For optimal 4K@60 Hz performance, ensure both the source device and the display support the resolution and refresh rate, and use system display settings to confirm the output configuration.
