Cavo audio ottico digitale WENTRONIC Goobay 65305 TOSLINK a TOSLINK 2 m, rame, contatti dorati, nero/argento

WENTRONIC Goobay 65305 is a 2 m digital optical audio cable with male TOSLINK connectors at both ends. The cable transmits digital PCM and Dolby Digital audio between sources and playback devices using an optical fibre core, while copper elements and gold-plated contacts improve connector durability and contact reliability. The cable is supplied in a slim metal design with black and silver accents and is intended for connecting TVs, Blu‑ray players, game consoles, soundbars, AV receivers and other audio equipment in home or professional AV setups.

Advantages

The optical TOSLINK connection provides immunity to electrical interference and ground loops, enabling synchronous sound and picture reproduction. Gold-plated contacts reduce the risk of corrosion and maintain a stable connection over time. The 2 m length covers typical distances between displays and audio systems without excess slack, and the slim metal plugs with bend protection increase mechanical durability. The cable construction balances signal integrity and ease of routing in media cabinets and behind furniture.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to soundbars or AV receivers for digital audio transmission
• Linking Blu‑ray or DVD players to home theatre systems
• Routing audio from game consoles to stereo or surround sound equipment
• Use in living rooms, media rooms and small professional AV installations

Key specifications

• Connector type: TOSLINK male to TOSLINK male
• Cable length: 2 m
• Core: optical fibre for digital audio transmission
• Conductive elements: copper
• Connector contacts: gold-plated
• Exterior: slim metal plugs with bend protection, braided textile sheath
• Colour: black and silver
• Supported audio formats: digital PCM and Dolby Digital (via S/PDIF over optical)

How to use

Insert one TOSLINK plug into the optical output of the source device (TV, Blu‑ray player, game console) and the other plug into the optical input of the target device (soundbar, AV receiver, stereo). Ensure both device optical ports are free of dust and aligned before insertion. After connection, select the optical/S/PDIF audio output in the source device settings and set the receiving device to the corresponding optical input. Avoid sharp bends near the connector to preserve the optical fibre integrity.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep the cable away from sharp edges and avoid tight loops; check device audio settings to match output format (PCM or Dolby Digital) and clean connector ends gently with a soft, lint‑free cloth if needed.
