Cavo audio ShiverPeaks BS06-15505 50m nero/rosso

The ShiverPeaks BS06-15505 50m audio cable is a long-length, two-conductor cable constructed with Copper-Clad Aluminium (CCA) and finished in a black and red sheath. Designed for audio and video cable installations, this 50 m cable combines flexibility with mechanical durability for routing through rooms, studio spaces or event venues. It arrives without pre-attached connectors, allowing custom termination to match specific equipment or connector types.

Advantages

This CCA-based cable delivers a balance of conductivity and reduced weight versus pure copper alternatives, while its 50 m length covers extended runs without requiring joins. The black-and-red colouring provides clear polarity identification during installation and the flexible sheath simplifies handling and routing in constrained spaces. Absence of fixed connectors permits end-user choice of terminations and professional on-site crimping or soldering for optimal signal contacts.

Suitable for

• Long audio runs between mixers, amplifiers and speaker systems
• Temporary or permanent installations in rehearsal rooms and venues
• DIY projects and professional system wiring where custom connectors are required
• Home theatre and multi-room audio distribution requiring a single long cable run

Key specifications

• Cable length: 50 m
• Conductor material: Copper-Clad Aluminium (CCA)
• Core configuration: two conductors (no pre-attached connectors)
• Outer colour: black and red
• Flexibility: suitable for routing through cable channels and around bends

How to use

Measure the required run and lay the cable along the planned route, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges. Strip the outer sheath and individual conductor insulation to expose cores for termination. Choose appropriate connectors (banana plugs, speakON, RCA, or screw terminals depending on equipment) and terminate using recommended crimping or soldering techniques to ensure reliable contact. Secure the cable along its run with clips or ties to prevent strain at connection points.

Recommendations

For best audio performance, keep the cable run clear of high-voltage power lines to reduce potential interference, and use proper terminations suited to the connected equipment. When long-term outdoor routing is required, protect the cable from direct sunlight and moisture with conduit or appropriate protective sleeving.
