Cavo audio ShiverPeaks BS06-24506 50 m bianco

The ShiverPeaks BS06-24506 50m White audio cable is a long-length, unterminated conductor intended for audio signal transmission in installations where a concealed, continuous run is required. Constructed with Copper-Clad Aluminium (CCA), the cable combines a conductive copper outer layer with an aluminium core to maintain signal flow over extended distances while keeping weight and material costs lower than pure copper alternatives. The white outer sheath provides a neutral appearance suitable for visible runs or paint-over installations.

Advantages

The CCA construction offers a balance between conductivity and reduced weight compared with solid copper, and the 50 m length allows a single continuous run for medium to large installations. The absence of pre-attached connectors makes the cable flexible for custom termination with connectors or soldered joints to match specific equipment or termination practices. The white sheath supports discreet placement in light-colored environments and can be routed along walls or ceilings without drawing attention.

Suitable for

• Fixed in-wall or ceiling audio wiring where long continuous runs are needed
• Connecting distributed audio systems in venues, classrooms, or homes after custom termination
• Temporary or permanent installations where color-matching with white interiors is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable length: 50 m
• Conductor type: Copper-clad aluminium (CCA)
• Colour: White outer sheath
• Termination: Sold without connectors for custom termination

How to use

Measure and plan the route for the 50 m cable run, allowing extra length for routing around obstacles and for termination. Cut the cable to length and strip the outer sheath and conductor insulation according to the requirements of the chosen connector or connection method. Terminate using appropriate connectors, soldering, or screw terminals, ensuring secure mechanical and electrical contact. Test the completed run with a signal source and measurement or listening tests to confirm continuity and acceptable audio quality before finalising mounts and concealment.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid running the audio cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines to minimise interference. Use suitable strain relief at termination points and consider using ferrite beads or balanced routing techniques where electromagnetic interference is a concern. When making long runs, verify connector quality and solder joints to reduce potential signal loss associated with CCA conductors.
