Cavo BNC ShiverPeaks 77503 RG — cavo di collegamento coassiale, connettore BNC

The ShiverPeaks 77503 RG BNC cable is a coaxial connection cable with BNC connectors at both ends, engineered for stable signal transmission in audio, video and radio-frequency environments. As an RG-series coaxial cable, it offers the characteristic impedance and shielding needed for short- to medium-length links between devices with BNC ports, such as cameras, monitors, broadcast equipment and test instruments. This particular cable is suitable for routine patching, studio routing and CCTV installations where reliable analog or digital signal continuity is required.

Advantages

The cable combines the familiar BNC bayonet connectors with RG-series coaxial construction to provide consistent impedance matching and reduced signal reflections. Its coaxial shielding minimizes interference from external electromagnetic sources, supporting clear transmission for composite video, RF and certain audio applications. The BNC connectors ensure a quick, secure mechanical connection while allowing fast reconnection when reconfiguring systems.

Suitable for

• Connecting CCTV cameras to DVRs or monitors
• Patching composite video signals in studio or broadcast racks
• Interfacing RF test equipment and signal generators
• Short runs between professional audio/video devices with BNC ports

Key specifications

• Connector type: BNC male to BNC male
• Cable family: RG-series coaxial
• Impedance: 50 Ohm (typical for RG 58 style cables)
• Length: approximately 3.0 m
• Shielding: braided and/or foil coaxial shield (for reduced EMI)
• Typical applications: video composite, RF signal transmission, test and measurement

How to use

Connect each BNC connector to the corresponding BNC jack on your devices by aligning the bayonet and pushing the connector onto the jack, then twist until it locks. Ensure both device jacks are clean and free of debris before connecting. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and prolonged compression points that could damage the centre conductor or degrade shielding. For installations involving multiple cables, label each end to maintain clear signal paths and simplify troubleshooting.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs as short as practical to reduce attenuation and signal loss. Avoid running the coaxial cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to minimize induced interference. If long runs or critical RF performance are required, consider using a higher-specification coaxial cable or adding proper termination and amplification as needed.
