Cavo C13 - C14 ShiverPeaks 5,0 m

The ShiverPeaks Cable C13 - C14 5.0m is a mains power lead designed to connect equipment with a C14 inlet to a C13 outlet. The 5.0 metre length provides extended reach for rack-mounted devices, servers, power distribution units and other IT equipment. The cable is manufactured to the stated safety standard and uses a C14 male and C13 female coupler to ensure a secure, compatible power connection between devices.

Advantages

This C13–C14 power cable combines a robust construction with standard-compliant design for stable current delivery and reliable contact. The 5.0 m length reduces the need for extension adapters and helps maintain neat cable routing in server rooms and workstations. Its standardized couplers ensure broad compatibility across professional and consumer power equipment, while the insulated sheath and molded connectors support safe handling and reduced wear over time.

Suitable for

• Connecting servers, rack equipment and power distribution units (PDUs)
• Extending reach from a C13 outlet to equipment with a C14 inlet
• Workstations, UPS systems and network hardware in offices or data centres
• Temporary or permanent installations where a 5.0 m lead is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: IEC C13 (female) to IEC C14 (male)
• Length: 5.0 metres
• Conductor arrangement: 3-core mains lead (live, neutral, earth)
• Insulation: PVC outer sheath for mechanical protection and electrical insulation
• Temperature and current rating: suitable for typical IT equipment current ratings (follow device label for exact limits)

How to use

Before use, inspect the cable for damage to the sheath or connectors. Firmly insert the C14 male connector into the device inlet and plug the C13 female end into the power source or distribution unit. Ensure connectors are fully seated to provide reliable contact. Avoid sharp bends, kinks or placing heavy objects on the cable. If used in racks, route the cable to prevent strain at connector ends and secure with appropriate cable management accessories.

Recommendations

Use this cable with equipment that matches the connector types and within the electrical ratings stated on the devices. For installations in damp, outdoor or high-temperature environments, choose cables and accessories rated for those conditions. Replace the cable if any damage or excessive wear is observed to maintain safety and reliable power delivery.
