Cavo coassiale doppio ShiverPeaks 0,7/2,9 CCS 100 m di ShiverPeaks

Coaxial Twin Cable ShiverPeaks 0.7/2.9 CCS 100 m is a paired coaxial cable solution designed for installations that require two coax runs in close proximity. Each conductor has a 0.7 mm copper-clad steel (CCS) core with a 2.9 mm outer conductor diameter, providing a balance of electrical conductivity and tensile strength. The twin configuration on a 100 m roll simplifies routing for dual-antenna, CCTV or RF applications where two separate coax lines are needed together.

Advantages

The twin coaxial design reduces installation time by providing two matched coax lines on a single sheath, while CCS conductors offer improved mechanical durability compared with solid copper cores. The 2.9 mm outer diameter specification ensures consistent characteristic impedance and shielding effectiveness for typical RF and video signal ranges. A 100 m roll format is convenient for residential and light commercial projects and minimizes the need for splicing along long runs.

Suitable for

• Residential and light commercial antenna installations
• CCTV camera runs requiring dual coaxial lines
• RF signal distribution and low-power transmitter connections
• Projects where paired, matched coax runs simplify cable management

Key specifications

• Conductor type: copper-clad steel (CCS)
• Inner conductor diameter: 0.7 mm
• Outer conductor diameter: 2.9 mm
• Configuration: twin/coaxial paired on a single sheath
• Length: 100 m roll
• Intended use: RF, antenna, CCTV and video signal transmission

How to use

Measure and cut the required length from the 100 m roll, taking care to maintain the integrity of the outer jacket while stripping the ends. Strip the outer jacket and shielding to expose the CCS center conductor and prepare connectors compatible with 2.9 mm coax dimensions (for example BNC, F-type or similar connectors as appropriate). Ensure proper crimping or soldering of connectors to maintain good electrical contact and shielding continuity. Route the twin cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile stress; secure with appropriate clamps or cable ties to prevent movement and maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

For best performance in antenna and CCTV systems, use connectors rated for the cable diameter and test signal continuity and return loss after installation. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines to reduce interference, and use weatherproofing methods for outdoor terminations.
