Cavo coassiale Hama 00205065 5 m F bianco

The Hama 00205065 coaxial cable is a 5 m white cable fitted with F-type connectors on both ends, designed for stable analogue and digital signal transmission. It is intended for audio and video connections where a shielded coaxial line is required to transfer TV, satellite and cable signals with minimal loss. The cable's length and connector type make it suitable for home entertainment setups and small installations that demand a straightforward coaxial link.

Advantages

This coaxial cable provides reliable signal continuity over a 5 meter span while maintaining a compact, flexible profile for easy routing. The F connectors ensure secure screw-type connections to satellite receivers, cable modems, set-top boxes and wall outlets. The white jacket offers a neutral appearance for visible runs and basic protection against abrasion and environmental dust. The cable is compatible with common consumer RF equipment and supports both analogue and digital broadcasts.

How to use

Connect one F connector to the output of your signal source (for example, a satellite LNB, set-top box or wall socket) and secure the mating F connector to the input of your receiving device (TV tuner, cable modem or receiver). Ensure connectors are tightened by hand until secure; avoid overtightening with tools to prevent damage to the connector or device. Route the cable away from power lines and sources of electrical interference to maintain signal quality. For wall or cabinet installations, use gentle bends and avoid sharp kinks.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, check that connector threads and contact surfaces are clean and free from corrosion before making connections. When extending runs longer than 5 m, consider using higher-grade or amplified solutions and verify signal levels after installation. Store the cable coiled without tight loops to prevent deformation of the conductor or shielding.
