Cavo coassiale ShiverPeaks BS80207-128 7,5 m IEC

The ShiverPeaks BS80207-128 7.5m IEC coaxial cable provides a reliable connection between audio-video devices using IEC male connectors at both ends. Designed for home entertainment setups, the cable supports transmission of RF signals for television and set-top boxes, offering a balance of length and signal integrity to reach devices across a room without adapters or signal-splitting accessories.

Advantages

This 7.5m coaxial cable combines a standardized IEC connector interface with robust construction to reduce signal loss and maintain consistent reception quality. The cable length offers installation flexibility while minimizing the need for extension pieces. Materials and shielding are selected to provide durability during repeated handling and to help reduce electromagnetic interference in typical domestic environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting a television to a wall antenna or cable outlet
• Linking set-top boxes, satellite receivers, or digital tuners to a TV
• Replacing worn or damaged IEC coaxial leads in home entertainment systems
• Temporary or semi-permanent installations where a 7.5m reach is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: coaxial (IEC-compatible)
• Connector type: IEC male connector on both ends
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Intended signal: RF (audio/video broadcast signals)
• Construction: shielded coax cable designed for reduced interference

How to use

Connect one IEC male connector to the TV's antenna/cable input and the other to the wall outlet, set-top box, or receiver. Ensure connectors are pushed fully into the corresponding sockets to provide a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and pinching points that could damage the shielding or conductor. If signal quality issues occur, check connectors for secure seating and inspect the cable for visible damage.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid running the coaxial cable parallel to mains power cables for long distances; cross them at right angles if necessary to reduce interference. When installing permanently, use gentle bends with a radius larger than the cable diameter and secure the cable with appropriate clips to prevent strain on the connectors.
