Cavo coassiale ShiverPeaks SP80208-20 20 m IEC

The ShiverPeaks SP80208-20 is a 20-meter coaxial cable with IEC connectors on both ends designed for reliable audio and video signal transmission. Its length supports flexible equipment placement in living rooms, home cinema setups and professional AV installations. The cable construction focuses on consistent impedance and shielding to reduce interference and maintain stable picture and sound quality between tuners, set-top boxes, TVs and other IEC-compatible devices.

Advantages

This coaxial cable provides a long reach while preserving signal integrity over 20 meters. Robust outer insulation and a shielded conductor minimize electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, improving reception stability. The IEC connectors ensure compatibility with a wide range of consumer and professional audio/video devices and are easy to connect and disconnect. The cable is engineered for straightforward installation and long-term use in static home or studio environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting TV sets to aerials or set-top boxes
• Home cinema and AV equipment links
• Extending cable runs between tuners and receivers
• Temporary or permanent installations in living rooms and media rooms

Key specifications

• Cable type: coaxial
• Connector type: IEC – male/female compatible on both ends
• Length: 20 meters
• Shielding: multi-layer shield to reduce interference
• Outer jacket: durable insulating material for indoor use
• Impedance: designed for standard RF/TV signal impedance

How to use

Route the cable between source and display, avoiding sharp bends and tight coils that could damage the inner conductor or degrade signal quality. Firmly attach the IEC connectors to the corresponding ports on devices; ensure connectors are seated securely but avoid excessive force. For fixed installations, secure the cable along baseboards or cable channels to prevent strain. Before finalizing placement, test the signal at both ends to confirm reception quality.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. If used in an environment with significant RF noise, consider additional shielding or shorter cable runs where possible. Store excess cable without tight loops to preserve cable integrity.
