Cavo DeLOCK DL4 cavo solare 4 mm² maschio su femmina 2 m nero IP67

The DeLOCK DL4 Solar Cable is a 2 m long, black DC cable with DL4 male to female connectors designed to transmit power from a photovoltaic system. The cable has a conductor cross-section of 4 mm², an overall diameter of approximately 5 mm and a rated voltage of 600 V. The connector pair features a snap-in locking mechanism and the assembled cable is rated IP67 for protection against dust and temporary immersion in water.

Advantages

The DL4 connectors provide a secure snap-in connection that reduces the risk of accidental disconnection while allowing release with the appropriate tool. IP67 protection ensures resistance to dust and moisture for outdoor solar installations. The 4 mm² conductor size and 600 V rating match common small-to-medium photovoltaic system requirements.

How to use

Connect the male DL4 plug to the corresponding female DL4 socket on the panel, inverter or junction box and push until the snap-in mechanism engages. To disconnect, use the appropriate release tool to unlock the snap-in connector before separating the plug and socket. Ensure all connections are made with the system de-energised and follow site safety procedures and local electrical codes.

Recommendations

Use the cable outdoors where IP67 protection is required; avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain near connectors and secure cable routing to prevent tension. Verify compatibility of DL4 connectors with other system components and confirm voltage and current ratings meet your installation requirements.
