Cavo DeLOCK DL4 per pannelli solari 6 mm² connettore maschio su femmina 2 m nero

The DeLOCK DL4 Solar Cable is a 2 m black cable with a 6 mm² conductor cross-section, designed to transmit power from photovoltaic systems. It is fitted with one DL4 male and one DL4 female connector and is intended for freestanding installations where a secure, weather-resistant connection is required.

Advantages

DL4 connectors feature a snap-in mechanism that reduces the risk of accidental disconnection while allowing release with the appropriate tool. The cable is rated IP67 for dust and water protection, ensuring reliable operation in outdoor environments. Its 5 mm outer diameter and 6 mm² conductor size provide a balance between flexibility and current-carrying capacity for typical solar panel systems.

How to use

Align the DL4 male and DL4 female connectors and push together until the snap-in mechanism engages. For disconnection, use the appropriate release tool to unlock the snap-in mechanism before separating the connectors. Route the cable to avoid sharp edges and secure it with appropriate clamps or ties to prevent strain on the connectors. Ensure all connections are made with the system powered down and follow local electrical safety regulations.

Recommendations

Use this cable only with compatible DL4 connectors and components. Verify the system's voltage and current requirements to confirm the 6 mm² cross-section is suitable. Inspect connectors and cable insulation regularly for damage and replace if any degradation is found.
