EXTRALINK CAT6 FTP is a Category 6 F/UTP outdoor network cable designed for reliable data transmission up to 250 MHz. The cable contains four colour-coded twisted copper pairs with waterproof tape and an aluminum-polymer foil screen within a PE sheath. It is supplied in a 305 m length and a black outer jacket, and meets cabling requirements of ISO/IEC 11801-1, EN 50173-1 and ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 as well as cable standards IEC 61156-5 and EN 50288-6-1.

Terminate pairs with compatible Cat6 RJ45 keystone jacks or patch panels following the standard pair colour code (white-blue/blue, white-orange/orange, white-green/green, white-brown/brown). Observe the recommended bending radius and tensile limits during pulling to avoid damage to the conductor and screening. Ensure properly sealed and insulated outdoor terminations to preserve water resistance.

For outdoor runs use suitable weatherproof junction boxes or sealed glands at transition points and maintain correct bend radii when routing the cable.
