Cavo di rete Gembird Cat6 F/UTP (FTP) 0,25 m, RJ-45 su RJ-45, bianco

Gembird Cat6 F/UTP (FTP) 0.25 m patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends is a short, shielded Ethernet lead designed for Cat6 networks. The 0.25 m length makes it suitable for compact interconnections where minimal cable slack is required. The white jacket and gold-plated contacts provide a clean appearance and reliable electrical contact for short links between devices, switches and patch panels in home or office network installations.

Advantages

The F/UTP (FTP) construction includes an overall foil shield that reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in environments with nearby electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance conductivity and corrosion resistance for stable connections. The short 0.25 m form factor minimises clutter in patch panels and switch racks and is convenient for closely spaced ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting a switch to a patch panel in a rack with minimal cable length
• Short links between network devices on a desk or in a compact media cabinet
• Temporary or permanent connections where a neat, low-profile cable is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 — supports Gigabit Ethernet performance suitable for typical wired LANs
• Shielding: F/UTP (overall foil shield with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends with gold-plated contacts
• Colour: White

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 plug into the Ethernet port of your device, switch or patch panel until it clicks into place. Use this 0.25 m cable for direct short connections where full-length cables would create excess slack. Ensure both ends are firmly seated and that the ports are compatible with Cat6-rated cabling to achieve expected performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use this shielded cable in environments where nearby power lines or electronic equipment could cause interference. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling; keep the cable length appropriate for the distance between ports to maintain a tidy installation and reliable contact.
