Cavo di ricarica per veicoli elettrici Lapp 5555934005 Type 2 7m 11kW

The Lapp 5555934005 Type 2 charging cable is a 7 m cable designed for AC charging of electric vehicles at up to 11 kW. It features Type 2 connectors on both ends and is intended for use with compatible wallboxes and public chargers that accept Type 2 leads. Rated for 20 A and up to 440 V, the cable provides an extended reach for parking situations where the charging point is not directly adjacent to the vehicle.

Advantages

This 7 m Type 2 cable offers flexible positioning due to its length while maintaining support for single-phase and three-phase AC charging up to 11 kW. The robust construction and standardized Type 2 interfaces ensure compatibility with a wide range of electric vehicles and charging stations. Built to operate at 20 A and 440 V, the cable supports reliable power delivery and stable charging sessions.

Suitable for

• Home charging from compatible wallboxes with Type 2 sockets
• Workplace charging where longer reach is required
• Public AC charging stations that accept tethered or plug-in Type 2 cables
• Electric vehicles equipped with Type 2 inlets

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7 m
• Connector type: Type 2 to Type 2
• Maximum power: 11 kW (AC)
• Rated current: 20 A
• Rated voltage: up to 440 V

How to use

Verify that both the charging station and the vehicle accept Type 2 connectors and that the station supports up to 11 kW charging. Park the vehicle with access to the charging inlet, uncoil the cable fully to avoid kinks, and insert the connector firmly into the vehicle inlet until it locks. Connect the other end to the charging station following the station’s instructions. Start the charging session using the station or vehicle interface. After charging, stop the session, unlock both connectors if necessary, and stow the cable without sharp bends.

Recommendations

Store the cable indoors or protected from direct sunlight and prolonged moisture when not in use. Regularly inspect connectors and the sheath for damage; do not use if insulation or contacts are compromised. Use the cable only with compatible Type 2 charging equipment and follow local electrical safety regulations.
