Cavo DisplayPort ShiverPeaks 10-50055, 5 m, per display UHD 4K2K

DisplayPort cable ShiverPeaks 10-50055, 5 m, for UHD 4K2K displays is a five-metre DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort connection cable intended to transmit high-resolution video from source devices such as PCs, laptops or graphics cards to monitors and televisions. The cable supports UHD 4K2K signals and is designed for applications that require a longer reach without additional adapters or signal converters. The black jacket and standard DisplayPort plug-to-plug construction make it suitable for desktop, workstation and home-entertainment setups.

Advantages

The 5 m length provides extended reach while keeping a single uninterrupted DisplayPort connection between source and display. Support for UHD 4K2K video allows transmission of high-resolution content for image editing, professional applications and multimedia playback. The plug-to-plug DisplayPort interface ensures compatibility with devices that feature native DisplayPort outputs and inputs, avoiding the need for active converters.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops to UHD 4K2K monitors
• Extending video connection in workstations and home offices
• Linking graphics cards to displays for gaming and professional use
• Connecting media players or set-top boxes with DisplayPort output to TVs or monitors

Key specifications

• Cable type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort (plug-to-plug)
• Length: 5 metres
• Supported resolution: UHD 4K2K
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one end of the DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort output on the source device and the other end to the DisplayPort input on the monitor or television. Ensure both devices are powered on and select the correct input on the display if necessary. For best results, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and minimize interference from other electrical equipment.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments where a single 5 m DisplayPort connection is sufficient for high-resolution video transmission. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and keep connectors free from dust to maintain reliable signal quality. If using long runs with very high refresh rates or extended colour depth, verify device compatibility and settings in the source device’s display output configuration.
