Cavo DisplayPort ShiverPeaks SP03-20045 3,0 m DisplayPort 1.4

The ShiverPeaks SP03-20045 DisplayPort cable, 3.0 m long, follows the DisplayPort 1.4 specification to transmit high-resolution video and multichannel audio between compatible source devices and displays. It is intended for desktop computers, workstations and home entertainment setups that require reliable delivery of high-bandwidth signals for features such as 4K at higher refresh rates and HDR passthrough when supported by connected hardware.

Advantages

This DisplayPort cable provides a long 3.0 m reach while maintaining signal integrity for high-bandwidth video and audio transmission. Compliance with the DisplayPort 1.4 specification enables support for higher resolutions and refresh rates where the source and display also support those modes. The cable is suitable for connecting PCs to monitors, docking stations or AV receivers with a DisplayPort interface while keeping a simple, single-cable connection for video and audio.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs and workstations to DisplayPort-equipped monitors
• Home entertainment setups that use DisplayPort sources and displays
• Multi-monitor configurations where a 3.0 m cable length is required
• Applications requiring support for high-resolution video and HDR passthrough when supported by the devices

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3.0 m
• DisplayPort standard: DisplayPort 1.4 compliance
• Supported signals: High-resolution video and multichannel digital audio
• Intended use: Point-to-point connection between DisplayPort source and display

How to use

Connect one end of the DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort output on the source device (PC, workstation or docking station) and the other end to the DisplayPort input on the monitor or compatible display. Ensure both devices are powered and that display settings on the source device are configured for the desired resolution and refresh rate. If HDR or higher refresh rates are required, enable relevant settings in the source device and monitor menus and verify that both devices support those modes.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and avoid running it alongside high-power electrical cables. When using high-resolution or high-refresh-rate modes, confirm that both source and display firmware and drivers are up to date. If signal issues occur at long lengths, test with a shorter cable or verify display settings and source output capabilities.
