Cavo DisplayPort VALUE DP - HDTV M/M 1m

The VALUE DisplayPort Cable (DP - HDTV M/M, 1m) is a male-to-male connection cable designed to link DisplayPort-equipped source devices with HDTVs and monitors. At one metre length it combines compact routing with support for high-resolution audio and video transmission. The cable is compatible with systems that accept DisplayPort input and is suitable for tasks where a short, reliable digital video/audio link is required.

Advantages

This DisplayPort cable supports high-definition video up to 4K and transmits multi-channel digital audio, providing a single-cable solution for audio-visual signals. Its male-to-male connectors ensure a straightforward plug-and-play connection without additional adapters. The 1 m length reduces excess cable clutter and is convenient for desktop, living-room and conference setups. The cable’s construction is designed for repeated insertions and stable signal integrity.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops with DisplayPort output to HDTVs or monitors
• Gaming consoles or PCs where low-latency, high-resolution video is required
• Streaming media from a DisplayPort source to a television
• Presentation systems in meeting rooms and classrooms

Key specifications

• Connector type: DisplayPort male to DisplayPort male
• Length: 1 metre
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 4K (dependent on source and display capabilities)
• Audio support: multi-channel digital audio pass-through
• Construction: durable jacket with reinforced connector ends for repeated use

How to use

Connect one end of the VALUE DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort output of your source device and the other end to the DisplayPort input of your HDTV or monitor. Ensure both devices are powered on and set the display input to the appropriate DisplayPort channel. Configure resolution and audio output settings on the source device if necessary to match the display’s capabilities. For best results, avoid bending the cable sharply near the connector ends.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-distance connections up to 1 metre to maintain optimal signal quality; for longer runs, choose a cable specified for extended distances. Keep connectors free of dust and insert or remove them by holding the connector housing rather than pulling the cable itself.
