Cavo elettrico AS Schwabe 70424 H05VV-F 3G1.5 1 m 230V 16A

Power cable AS Schwabe 70424 H05VV-F 3G1.5 1 m 230V 16A is a fixed-length mains lead intended for indoor connection of household and office appliances. The cable has three conductors with a cross-sectional area of 1.5 mm² each, insulated and sheathed in flexible PVC (H05VV-F), suitable for use at standard domestic voltage of 230 V and rated current up to 16 A. The 1 m length provides a compact, tidy connection for devices positioned close to power outlets and can serve as a replacement or repair cord for compatible equipment.

Advantages

The H05VV-F construction ensures a balance of flexibility and mechanical protection for typical indoor applications, while the 3G1.5 conductor size supports higher current draw than lighter mains leads. The flexible PVC sheath resists normal abrasion and bending during installation and everyday use inside homes and offices. As a fixed-length lead, it simplifies replacement of worn or damaged cords without the need for on-site termination or assembly.

Key specifications

How to use

Inspect the cable for visible damage before use. Connect the appropriate appliance plug or connector to the cable end intended for the device, ensuring polarity and earth connection are correctly matched to the appliance terminals. Plug the other end into a properly installed mains socket rated for 230 V and capable of supplying up to 16 A. Avoid routing the cable across sharp edges or hot surfaces, and do not use the cable outdoors or in permanently damp areas unless the appliance documentation permits such use.

Recommendations

For safe operation, use the cable only with appliances designed to accept a 3-core, 1.5 mm² lead and ensure the supply circuit protection matches the appliance current requirements. Replace the cable if insulation or conductor integrity is compromised. For installations requiring longer runs, higher flexibility, or outdoor use, choose a cable type and cross-section appropriate for those conditions.
