The InLine® Cat.6A patch cable coupler with integrated 20 cm patch cable offers a high-quality and flexible solution for shielded network connections in demanding environments. The design with an RJ45 socket on one side and an RJ45 plug on the other side saves additional connections and reduces potential sources of error.
The robust PA66 housing, reliable silicone seal, and IP68 certification make the coupler suitable for outdoor use, in industrial applications, or in mobile technology systems. The shielded design ensures interference-free transmission – even in the presence of electromagnetic interference.
The integrated Cat.6A standard cable supports transmissions of up to 10 Gb/s with a bandwidth of 500 MHz. Thanks to the M20 thread, the coupling can be easily installed in housings, distributors, or technical boxes.
This coupling is the ideal solution for anyone who needs a robust, shielded connection with a pre-assembled cable in damp or harsh environments.

How to use

Install the coupler by threading it into an M20 cutout on an enclosure, distributor, or technical box and secure it according to the enclosure’s mounting procedure. Connect the RJ45 plug end to the corresponding device or patch panel and insert the RJ45 socket end to the outgoing cable or another connector. Ensure the silicone seal seats correctly to maintain IP68 protection and verify shielding continuity when integrating into shielded cabling systems.

Recommendations

Use this shielded Cat.6A coupler where a short pre-assembled patch cable and IP68 protection are required; verify cable routing and grounding for optimal EMC performance and keep total horizontal cable runs within 100 m for full 10 Gb/s performance.
