Cavo HDMI Equip HDMI 2.0 Attivo Ottico M/M 70m

The Equip 11943x series Active Optical Cable (AOC) is a hybrid HDMI cable that uses optical fibre for high-speed video/data transmission and copper conductors for low-frequency control signals. This Equip HDMI 2.0 Active Optical Cable M/M 70m features HDMI Type A connectors, supports up to 4K@60Hz, 3D, a data rate of 18 Gbit/s and includes Audio Return Channel (ARC). The cable is designed to provide reliable signal extension up to 70 m without additional power or loss of quality.

Advantages

By combining multimode optical fibres with copper wires, the cable delivers high-bandwidth TMDS signals over long distances while preserving control-channel functionality. The active optical design eliminates signal degradation and latency common to long copper HDMI runs, and the single-cable solution requires no external power source. The black, durable construction is suitable for professional and residential installations where long-reach HDMI connectivity is needed.

Suitable for

• Installing HDMI links between distant displays and sources (up to 70 m)
• 4K@60Hz video distribution and home cinema setups with ARC
• Conference rooms, lecture halls and digital signage requiring long cable runs

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A end to the source device and the other HDMI Type A end to the display or receiver. Ensure connectors are fully seated. The cable operates as a plug-and-play HDMI link; no external power supply or special configuration is required. For best results, avoid tight bends and excessive tension along the cable path to protect the optical fibres.

Recommendations

Use this Equip HDMI 2.0 Active Optical Cable for reliable, long-distance HDMI connections up to 70 m. Keep minimum bend radius and protect connectors from moisture and mechanical stress. If routing through conduits, confirm internal diameter accommodates the cable and any required bends.
