Cavo HDMI Premium Optic Microconnect 50 m

The Microconnect Premium Optic HDMI Cable 50m is an active hybrid HDMI 2.0 cable combining fiber-optic and copper conductors to transmit high-quality audio and video over long distances up to 100 m without signal degradation. It features gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors, supports 3D and a maximum resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels with a data rate up to 18 Gbit/s, and includes Audio Return Channel (ARC) in a black, lightweight and flexible design with an ultra-small bend radius for installation in confined spaces.

Advantages

The hybrid design (fiber plus copper) preserves signal integrity over long runs while maintaining support for HDMI 2.0 features including 4K@60Hz (4096 x 2160), 3D and ARC. Gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors provide reliable contact and corrosion resistance. The cable’s lightweight construction, flexibility and very small bend radius simplify routing in tight installations and professional AV setups.

Suitable for

• Long-distance AV connections up to 50 m (active optic design enables runs up to 100 m)
• Connecting 4K (4096 x 2160) displays, projectors and AV receivers
• Home theatre and professional presentation systems using ARC and 3D
• Installations requiring tight cable routing and small bend radii

Key specifications

• Cable length: 50 m
• HDMI standard: HDMI 2.0
• Maximum resolution: 4096 x 2160 pixels
• Maximum data rate: 18 Gbit/s
• Connectors: HDMI Type A (both ends), gold-plated
• Features: 3D support, Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Colour: Black
• Weight: 1.798 kg

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI output of the source device and the other HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI input of the display or AV receiver. Ensure both devices support the desired HDMI 2.0 features (4K, 3D, ARC). Route the cable avoiding extremely sharp bends; the cable’s small bend radius allows tight routing but maintain gentle curves around corners when possible. For runs approaching the upper distance limits, verify signal and device compatibility during initial setup.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this active optic HDMI cable for single-screen 4K@60Hz connections and professional AV installations. Avoid repeated sharp bending near connector ends and keep the connectors clean. If you require runs significantly longer than 50 m, confirm the specific application supports active cables up to 100 m and test the full setup before permanent installation.
