Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O2513.3-1.2 3 m 2x SC giallo

The EFB Elektronik O2513.3-1.2 is a 3 m OS2 fibre optic cable with SC connectors on both ends offering duplex transmission over two fibres. Its 9 µm single-mode core is intended for long-distance, low-loss signal transfer and supports high-speed data links in structured networks. The yellow jacket provides standard single-mode colour coding for easy identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable delivers low attenuation and stable signal quality due to its OS2 single-mode design and 9 µm core. SC duplex connectors ensure reliable mechanical mating and simple push-pull operation for fast installation. The 3 m length balances reach and tidy cable management for rack or wall-mounted equipment. The yellow outer jacket follows industry colour conventions for single-mode cabling, which helps reduce installation errors and speeds up maintenance.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting network switches, routers and media converters in data centres and comms rooms
• Fiber patching between distribution frames and active equipment
• Telecommunication links and long-distance LAN connections where single-mode performance is required
• Fiber testing setups and lab environments needing standard SC duplex terminations

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OS2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector type: 2x SC duplex (both ends)
• Cable length: 3 m
• Jacket colour: yellow (single-mode identification)
• Transmission: full duplex over two fibres

How to use

Connect each SC connector to the corresponding SC port on your network device, ensuring correct polarity for transmit and receive channels. Route the cable through cable management panels or tie points to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for single-mode fibre. For insertion into patch panels, align the SC connectors with the adapter slots and push until a positive click is felt. When disconnecting, pull the SC connector by its housing rather than the cable jacket.

Recommendations

Store and install the cable in a clean environment to avoid contamination of connector endfaces. Inspect and, if necessary, clean SC connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools prior to mating. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile force during installation; use labelled cable ties or management rings to keep runs organised. Use this OS2 single-mode cable where single-mode performance and standard SC connectivity are required.
