Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand BlueOptics CBL-25GSFP28-AOC-15M-BO 15 m SFP28 maschio/maschio

The BlueOptics CBL-25GSFP28-AOC-15M-BO is a 15 metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors on both ends, designed for 25G data transmission over multimode fibre. Compliant with industry MSA form-factors, this AOC integrates a transmitter and receiver at each end and supports common high-speed protocols such as 25G Ethernet and Fibre Channel over Ethernet. The pre-assembled cable eliminates patching and reduces attenuation and EMI sensitivity compared with copper cabling, making it suitable for data centre interconnects and high-density networking equipment.

Advantages

The cable provides a stable 25GBASE-SR4-capable optical link for distances up to 15 metres using multimode fibre, delivering low latency and immunity to electromagnetic interference. Built to MSA specifications, it offers plug-and-play compatibility with equipment that accepts SFP28 AOCs. Integrated digital diagnostics (DDM/DOM) enable real-time monitoring of supply voltage, laser bias current, transmit output power, receive input power and temperature for simplified troubleshooting. Component selection follows established industry suppliers to support long service life and high MTBF.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics 15m SFP28 AOC by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your networking devices until the latch engages. Ensure both devices support SFP28 AOCs and the 25G protocol required. If available, enable or verify DDM/DOM support in device management to read real-time diagnostic parameters. No fibre patching or connector cleaning is required for this pre-assembled cable, but keep connector dust caps on before installation and handle the cable to avoid sharp bends.

Recommendations

Use this AOC in short-reach applications within or between racks where 15 metres is sufficient. Confirm hardware compatibility with SFP28 AOCs and enable DDM/DOM if remote diagnostics are needed. Avoid tight bending or crushing of the cable and keep the cable path clear of sources of mechanical damage to maintain long-term performance.
