Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand BlueOptics SP-CABLE-ADASFP+5M-BL SFP+ 5 m connettore maschio/connettore maschio

The BlueOptics SP-CABLE-ADASFP+5M-BL InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable SFP+ 5m Male/Male is a 5‑meter, male‑to‑male SFP+ cable designed for high‑speed short‑range connections in networking installations. It supports 10 Gbps class link speeds and is intended for linking compatible switches, storage systems, servers and other hardware with SFP+ ports. The cable is suitable for use in rack environments and adjacent rack connections where a compact SFP+ to SFP+ connection is required.

Advantages

This SFP+ cable provides a straightforward, low‑latency electrical link between SFP+ ports while keeping power consumption and installation complexity low. It conforms to industry MSA guidelines for SFP+ connectivity and is produced to meet common quality standards, offering reliable signal integrity over the specified 5 m length. The compact male‑to‑male SFP+ form factor makes it easy to route and install in dense rack environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting SFP+ ports between switches and routers within or between adjacent racks
• Linking servers to storage systems or network appliances with SFP+ interfaces
• Short‑reach 10 Gbps InfiniBand and Ethernet interconnects in data centers

Key specifications

• Cable type: SFP+ direct attach (male/male)
• Length: 5 meters
• Supported interface: SFP+ (10 G class links)
• Application: short‑reach data center interconnects (Ethernet, InfiniBand compatible)
• Form factor: compact twin SFP+ connectors for rack installations

How to use

Ensure both devices support passive SFP+ direct attach connections and are powered down or in a state recommended by the equipment vendor before insertion. Align each SFP+ connector with the host port and slide it in until it clicks into place; secure any retention latches if present. After physical installation, verify link up and negotiate the appropriate speed and protocol in the device management interface. For removal, depress the latch and pull the connector straight out to avoid stressing the port.

Recommendations

Use this 5 m SFP+ cable in short‑reach scenarios inside racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends near the connector ends and maintain a gentle bend radius along the cable run. Confirm vendor compatibility for passive direct attach SFP+ cables in your hardware to ensure correct operation.
