Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand Lanview LVO231379 5 m 2x SC giallo

The Lanview LVO231379 fibre optic cable is a 5 m single-mode patch cord with 2x SC connectors and OS2 (9 µm) fibre designed for enterprise networks, telecom rooms, server farms and cloud storage networks. The yellow cable supports full-duplex high-speed data transmission and is suitable for 1G/10G/40G/100G Ethernet links, with typical single-mode reach up to 10 km at 1310 nm and up to 40 km at 1550 nm. The patch cord uses LSZH jacket material and is manufactured to industry standards (IEC, EIA/TIA or Telcordia).

Advantages

The Lanview LVO231379 offers reliable single-mode performance with SC connectors for straightforward mating and low insertion loss. Its OS2 fibre type and 9 µm core diameter provide long-distance transmission capability. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire, and the yellow colour makes cable identification easy in patch panels and trunking.

Suitable for

• Enterprise network backbone connections
• Telecom rooms and data centre patching
• Server farms and cloud storage interconnects
• 1G/10G/40G/100G Ethernet links
• Fiber jumper applications requiring SC to SC connections

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces before installation and clean if necessary. Route the cable through patch panels or cable management systems avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. Insert SC connectors into corresponding SC adapters or transceiver ports until they click to secure full-duplex mating. Verify link status and test optical loss with appropriate fibre testers to confirm correct installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain minimum bend radius as specified by the manufacturer, avoid pulling on connectors, and store spare patch cords in a dust-free environment. Use compatible SC adapters and equipment rated for single-mode OS2 fibre.
