Cavo InfiniBand/fibra ottica BlueOptics S+DA0001 1 m SFP+ connettore maschio/connettore maschio

The BlueOptics S+DA0001 is a 1 m InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with SFP+ male connectors on both ends, designed for short-reach, high-bandwidth connections in data centre and networking environments. This single cable supports reliable high-speed data transmission and is suitable for connecting SFP+ ports on switches, servers, storage systems and network interface cards where a 1 metre fibre solution is required.

Advantages

This BlueOptics SFP+ cable combines compact SFP+ connectivity with fibre optic signal integrity to deliver low-latency, high-throughput links. The 1 m length reduces excess cabling and improves airflow in dense rack environments. The male-to-male SFP+ termination provides plug-and-play compatibility with SFP+ ports and stable optical performance for InfiniBand and other SFP+ applications.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ male connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on network devices until the connector locks. Ensure both device ports are configured for matching link settings and that optical transceivers or integrated SFP+ ports are compatible with the cable. Route the 1 m cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it clear of power cables or heat sources to maintain signal integrity and device ventilation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, verify SFP+ port compatibility and link settings in the devices' network configuration. Avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius and keep connectors clean of dust or debris before insertion to ensure reliable optical connections.
