Cavo ottico attivo DeLOCK 83206 USB Type-A su Type-C 10 m 10 Gbit/s

This Active Optical Cable by DeLOCK connects a PC or laptop USB Type-A port to devices with a USB Type-C connector. The Type-C plug is equipped with securing screws to prevent accidental disconnection. The cable is 10 m long and supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 (USB 3.1 Gen 2) for up to 10 Gbps transfer speed.

Advantages

The optical fiber construction enables long-distance, high-speed data transmission with reduced signal loss compared to copper cables. The NBR jacket provides flexibility and mechanical durability suitable for drag chains and demanding environments. The slim, lightweight design of the active optical cable improves handling and routing in installations where cable bulk is a concern.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB Type-C devices to a computer with a USB Type-A port
• High-speed data transfer over long distances (up to 10 m)
• Environments requiring flexible and durable cabling, including drag chains
• Applications that support USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) or legacy USB 2.0 devices

How to use

Plug the USB Type-A connector into an available USB port on your PC or laptop and connect the USB Type-C connector to the device. Tighten the screws on the Type-C connector to secure the connection and prevent accidental unplugging. The cable is active — no external power supply is required beyond the connected devices' USB ports. Data transfer speed will depend on the capabilities of the connected devices and host port.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable with devices and host ports that support USB 3.2 Gen 2 to achieve up to 10 Gbps. Avoid sharp bends and excessive mechanical stress; when used in drag chains or harsh environments the NBR jacket improves durability but standard handling precautions still apply.
