Cavo patch duplex ShiverPeaks 77805 LC/LC 9/125µ OS1/OS2 10 m

Duplex Patch Cable ShiverPeaks 77805 LC/LC 9/125µ OS1/OS2 10 m is a single-mode optical fibre patch lead with LC connectors on both ends and a 10-metre jacket. Designed for OS1/OS2 networks, this duplex cable contains two fibres in a single jacket to enable bidirectional optical transmission between fibre ports, patch panels and network equipment. The cable uses a 9/125 µm core/cladding fibre suitable for long-distance single-mode links and is jacketed in a standard yellow sheath for easy identification in structured cabling systems.

Advantages

The LC/LC duplex configuration provides compact connectors and reliable alignment for low insertion loss in single-mode links. A 9/125 µm fibre profile ensures compatibility with OS1/OS2 installations and supports typical telecom and data centre transmission requirements. The 10 m length offers flexibility for routing between racks, cabinets and wall outlets while maintaining signal integrity for patching tasks.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting equipment in data centres and server rooms
• Linking patch panels and fibre distribution frames
• Connecting telecom and carrier-grade single-mode infrastructure
• Extending links between network switches, transceivers and media converters

Key specifications

• Fibre type: single-mode (9/125 µm)
• Connector type: LC to LC, duplex
• Standards compatibility: OS1/OS2 single-mode
• Length: 10 metres
• Jacket colour: yellow (standard single-mode identification)
• Cable construction: dual-fibre duplex in single jacket suitable for patching

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces and ensure both transceiver ports and patch panel adapters are clean before insertion. Align the LC connectors with the adapter openings and insert until they click to secure the connection. Use the duplex clip or keyed orientation where applicable to maintain correct polarity. Route the cable through cable management channels or trays to avoid tight bends; observe the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for single-mode fibre to prevent increased loss or damage.

Recommendations

Regularly clean LC connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools and perform visual inspection or tester measurements after installation. Avoid excessive bending and tension; secure the cable with soft ties or Velcro straps and keep it separate from electrical power cables to minimise interference and mechanical stress.
