Cavo per altoparlanti ShiverPeaks 06-21505 2,5 mm² 50 m rosso/nero

Speaker cable ShiverPeaks 06-21505 2.5 mm² 50 m red/black is a twin conductor audio cable with a conductor cross-sectional area of 2.5 mm² per core and a total length of 50 meters. It is designed for connecting loudspeakers to amplifiers, receivers or audio processors in domestic, rehearsal or small public environments. The dual-colour red and black sheath provides quick visual polarity identification and streamlined routing during installation.

Advantages

The cable offers a 2.5 mm² conductor size suitable for medium-power audio runs, balancing current-carrying capacity and flexibility for handling and installation. Its twin conductor construction ensures consistent impedance and reliable signal transfer over the 50 m length. The red/black colouring reduces the chance of polarity errors when connecting multiple speakers or channels, and the outer sheath provides mechanical protection and ease of stripping for common connector types.

Suitable for

• Home stereo and multiroom speaker connections
• Small studio monitoring and rehearsal setups
• Fixed installations in cafés, meeting rooms or small venues
• DIY audio projects and temporary event sound distribution

Key specifications

• Conductor cross-sectional area: 2.5 mm² per conductor
• Length: 50 m
• Configuration: twin conductor (red/black)
• Material: stranded conductor suitable for speaker wiring
• Sheath: bi-colour outer insulation for polarity identification

How to use

Measure the required run and cut the cable to length, leaving allowance for termination at both ends. Strip the outer sheath and the conductor insulation carefully to expose the stranded cores, then terminate with banana plugs, spade connectors, pin connectors or directly into binding posts as appropriate for the amplifier and speaker terminals. Ensure correct polarity by matching red to positive and black to negative at both ends. Avoid sharp bends and secure the cable along its route to prevent strain and mechanical damage.

Recommendations

For best audio performance, keep cable runs as short as practical and avoid running speaker cable in parallel with power mains for long distances to reduce interference. Use appropriate connectors for secure terminations and verify polarity after installation. In permanent or concealed installations, select appropriate conduit or protection to meet local building and safety codes.
