Cavo Scart ShiverPeaks 97022-5.0SPP, lunghezza 5 m, cavo SCART ShiverPeaks

The Scart cable ShiverPeaks 97022-5.0SPP is a 5 m AV lead intended for connecting SCART-equipped audio and video devices such as DVD players, set-top boxes and legacy televisions. The single-cable design supports composite video and RGB signals where the connected devices allow, providing a fixed five-metre length to enable flexible placement of equipment in living rooms and home entertainment systems.

Advantages

This ShiverPeaks SCART lead reduces cable clutter by consolidating audio and video connections into one connector pair. Its uninterrupted 5 m length gives enough reach for typical home installations without the need for extension adapters. The cable is compatible with standard SCART sockets and preserves signal routing for composite video, stereo audio and RGB (when supported by source and display), ensuring straightforward setup and reliable analog transmission.

Suitable for

• Connecting DVD players to older televisions
• Linking set-top boxes or VCRs to SCART-equipped displays
• Home entertainment systems where a fixed-length AV cable is required
• Temporary or permanent AV installations in living rooms and media cabinets

Key specifications

• Cable type: SCART lead for analog audio and video
• Length: 5 metres fixed
• Signal support: composite video, stereo audio; RGB supported if both devices provide RGB over SCART
• Connector type: standard 21-pin SCART connectors on both ends
• Application: indoor home AV connections

How to use

Insert one SCART connector into the SCART socket of the source device (for example a DVD player or set-top box) and the other connector into the SCART socket of the display device. Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting to avoid potential switching transients. If the devices support RGB over SCART, configure the source and display to use RGB mode if required. After connection, power on the devices and select the appropriate input on the television or monitor.

Recommendations

For stable, interference-free performance, route the cable away from large power sources, Wi‑Fi routers or other high-current cables. Avoid sharp bends and tight loops; coil any excess length without kinking. When using older devices, check device menus or manuals to enable the desired output mode (composite or RGB) and adjust display input settings accordingly.
