Cavo sensore/attuatore METZ CONNECT 142MDA10020 connettore maschio M12 standard 2 m nero

The METZ CONNECT 142MDA10020 is a flexible, silicone- and halogen-free sensor/actuator cable with a male M12 connector and a 2 m length. Designed for industrial automation, the cable offers high mechanical strength and resistance to chemicals, hydrolysis and microbes. It meets UL and CSA (UL10493/20549; cULus) requirements and is suitable for demanding flexible applications such as robotics, machine tools and metal-cutting production.

Advantages

This sensor/actuator cable is flame retardant, seawater resistant and recyclable. It is LABS‑free, RoHS compliant and resists acids, alkalis, ozone and UV exposure. The cable is hydrolysis-proof, oil-resistant and designed for drag-chain and torsion applications with a minimum bending radius of 10×d. Its weld-field and welding-spark immunity make it suited to environments with welding operations.

Suitable for

• Connecting sensors and actuators in industrial automation
• Robotics and articulated systems requiring flexible cabling
• Machine tools and metal-cutting production lines
• Drag-chain installations with minimum bending radius 10×d

Key specifications

• Product: Sensor/Actuator Cable METZ CONNECT 142MDA10020
• Connector: M12 male
• Cable length: 2 m
• Cable colour: Black
• Construction: Silicone-free, halogen-free, high mechanical strength
• Standards: UL and CSA (UL10493/20549; cULus)

How to use

Connect the M12 male connector to the corresponding M12 female port on sensors, actuators or control devices. Route the cable following the recommended minimum bending radius (10×d) when installing in drag chains or flexible runs. Secure the cable to avoid undue torsion or sharp bends and ensure connectors are fully engaged and tightened according to device instructions.

Recommendations

For optimal service life, avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures or chemicals outside the device specifications. Use in drag-chain systems at or above the specified bending radius and inspect periodically for mechanical wear in high-movement applications.
