Cavo seriale 1:1 ACT 5 metri 9 poli D-Sub maschio - 9 poli D-Sub femmina

The ACT 5 metre Serial 1:1 connection cable features a 9‑pin D‑sub male connector on one end and a 9‑pin D‑sub female connector on the other. Provided in an ivory colour and measuring 5 metres in length, this serial cable is designed for connecting devices that use a standard RS‑232 style D‑sub interface. Its straightforward 1:1 wiring and robust jacket make it suitable for reliable data transfer in both domestic and professional environments.

Advantages

The cable provides a direct 1:1 pin mapping between male and female 9‑pin D‑sub connectors, minimising wiring complexity. The 5 m length offers extended reach without the need for intermediate adapters. Neutral ivory colouring blends with typical office and equipment environments, while the durable outer sheath helps protect against everyday wear and tear.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, terminals or modems with 9‑pin D‑sub (DB9) serial ports
• Linking industrial controllers and measurement instruments that use RS‑232 signalling
• Serial peripherals such as barcode scanners, receipt printers and older POS hardware

How to use

Identify the serial ports on the two devices to be connected and align the male and female 9‑pin D‑sub connectors. Secure each connector by tightening the thumbscrews or screws on the connector shells to ensure a stable mechanical and electrical connection. After connection, configure the device serial settings (baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits and flow control) as required by the devices and test communication with appropriate terminal software or equipment.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid routing the cable near high‑voltage power lines or strong electromagnetic sources. Use within the specified length to prevent signal degradation, and inspect connectors periodically for bent pins or loose screws before use.
