Cavo Sub-D ShiverPeaks 15 poli, lunghezza 5,0 m

Sub-D cable ShiverPeaks 15-pin, 5.0 m length provides a shielded, fixed-length connection with a 15‑pole DB15 Sub-D interface. The cable is designed for serial, VGA and general-purpose multi-pin connections where a reliable 15‑pin Sub-D link is required. It connects equipment for signal transmission, control and AV distribution in environments using legacy computer interfaces or industrial devices.

Advantages

This Sub-D cable offers a 1:1 pin assignment and a molded connector construction that improves mechanical stability and protects contacts from strain. The shielded design reduces electromagnetic interference, helping to maintain signal integrity over the 5.0 m run. The DB15 form factor is widely compatible with devices that use a 15‑pole Sub-D interface, providing a straightforward wired connection without adapters or active components.

Suitable for

• VGA video connections where a 15‑pin Sub-D interface is used
• Serial and parallel control links in AV and industrial equipment
• Connecting legacy computer peripherals and instrumentation with DB15 ports

Key specifications

• Connector type: 15‑pin Sub-D (DB15) male to female
• Cable length: 5.0 m
• Pin assignment: 1:1 wiring
• Construction: molded connectors with strain relief
• Shielding: overall cable shield for EMI reduction
• Typical applications: signal transmission, control interfaces, AV linking

How to use

Attach the male and female 15‑pin Sub-D connectors to the corresponding DB15 ports on your devices, ensuring proper alignment of the pins before seating the connectors. Secure any fastening screws if present to prevent accidental disconnection. For VGA use, confirm device resolutions and sync settings are supported by both ends. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive pulling, or proximity to high-power conductors to preserve shielding effectiveness and mechanical integrity.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the cable in environments within typical indoor temperature ranges, avoid repeated sharp bends near the connector ends, and keep the connector contacts clean and free of debris. When installing in industrial settings, route the cable away from high-voltage lines and heavy machinery to reduce interference and mechanical wear.
