Cavo USB Bachmann 918.177 USB 3.2 Gen 1 3 m nero

The Bachmann 918.177 USB cable is a 3 m black USB A–A cable that supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1) for high-speed data transfer. It provides the required wiring for SuperSpeed communication, including the additional earth connection and the two extra signal pairs (SSTX± and SSRX±) used for host-to-device and device-to-host transmission.

Advantages

This straight-through USB 3.2 Gen 1 A–A cable preserves SuperSpeed signal pairs and the shielding/earth connection necessary for optimal USB 3.0/3.2 performance. Its 3 m length is suitable for many desktop and AV setups while remaining within SuperSpeed length constraints when used with appropriate components. The cable is compatible with devices such as printers and external storage that use USB A connectors on both ends.

Suitable for

• Connecting devices with USB A ports (A-to-A) such as some printers and external hard drives
• Setups requiring a straight-through SuperSpeed connection between host and device
• Applications where a 3 m cable length is practical and within cabling limitations

Key specifications

• Brand: Bachmann
• Manufacturer part number (MPN): 918.177
• EAN: 4016514071043
• Standard: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.1 Gen 1 / USB 3.0 SuperSpeed)
• Connector type: USB A to USB A (straight-through)
• Length: 3 m
• Color: Black

How to use

Connect one USB A end to the host device (for example a computer) and the other USB A end to the peripheral (for example an external hard drive or printer). Ensure both ends are fully seated in their USB A ports. Use this straight-through cable only when a straight A–A connection is required. Avoid using crossed or swapped wiring that would interrupt SuperSpeed signal pairs.

Recommendations

For full USB 3.0/3.2 Gen 1 SuperSpeed performance, use straight-through USB 3.x cables and keep total SuperSpeed cable length (including any keystone modules or patch cables) within recommended limits. If keystone modules are used, shorten cable lengths accordingly. Cable quality affects achievable data rates; using the Bachmann USB 3.0/3.2 cable helps maintain reliable SuperSpeed connections.
