The ShiverPeaks BS13-47030 USB Cable is a 2 m USB C to USB C data cable designed for devices with USB-C ports. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 (also referenced as USB 3.1 Gen 2) transfer rates up to 20 Gbit/s and features gold-plated contacts. The grey finish provides a neutral, modern appearance suitable for home, office, or travel use.

Advantages

This USB C cable offers high-speed data transfer compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 2 devices, enabling faster file transfers compared with lower USB generations. Gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance for a stable connection. With a 2 m length the cable provides added reach and flexibility when connecting laptops, smartphones, tablets, external drives and other USB-C devices while maintaining a clean grey aesthetic.

Suitable for

How to use

Connect one USB-C end to a host device (for example a laptop or desktop with a USB-C port) and the other end to a compatible peripheral such as an external SSD, docking station or mobile device. Ensure both connected devices support USB 3.2 Gen 2 to achieve the maximum transfer rate. Use the cable in a straight, untwisted configuration and avoid excessive bending at the connector ends to prolong cable life.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, pair the cable with devices that explicitly support USB 3.2 Gen 2 and avoid routing the cable near strong electromagnetic sources. Inspect connectors periodically for debris or damage and replace the cable if contact surfaces are visibly worn.
