• Connecting USB-C docking stations and multiport hubs
• Linking compatible laptops and tablets to displays, storage or peripherals
• Data-intensive workflows such as photo/video editing and large backup operations

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB C to USB C
• USB standard: USB4 Gen 2x2
• Maximum data transfer rate: 20 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 2 m
• Colour: Black and silver

How to use

Plug one USB C connector into a compatible host device and the other into a compatible peripheral or docking station. Ensure both connected devices support the desired USB4 Gen 2x2 feature set to achieve maximum transfer speeds. Use the cable in environments free from sharp bends or heavy mechanical stress to maintain signal integrity. No special drivers are required for basic data transfer; device capabilities determine available features such as power delivery or alternate modes.

Recommendations

To achieve the specified 20 Gbit/s rate, connect devices that both support USB4 Gen 2x2. Route the cable to avoid tight loops and excessive bending, and avoid placing heavy objects on the cable. If using with power-hungry devices, verify the power delivery specifications of the host and peripheral to ensure safe operation.
