Cavo USB Type-C a DisplayPort DeLOCK 86040 8K 60 Hz 1,5 m

This DP 8K certified USB-C™ to DisplayPort cable by Delock enables a direct connection between devices with USB Type-C™ and DisplayPort connectors. The cable is bidirectional and supports a maximum bandwidth of 32.4 Gbps, allowing video output up to 8K Ultra HD (7680 x 4320 @ 60 Hz) and HDR for improved colour depth, brightness and contrast. The 1.5 m black cable has USB Type-C and DisplayPort connectors and is suitable for connecting laptops, smartphones or USB-C monitors to displays with DisplayPort inputs or outputs.

Advantages

The bidirectional design allows signal transmission in both directions, increasing flexibility for different setups. DP 8K certification and a 32.4 Gbps bandwidth enable 8K at 60 Hz and HDR support for accurate colour reproduction. With a 1.5 m length and compact 4.8 mm diameter, the cable offers convenient reach and a low-profile form factor while maintaining reliable performance for video, streaming and professional workflows.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop or smartphone with USB Type-C to a monitor or TV with DisplayPort input
• Connecting a USB Type-C monitor to a PC or graphics source with DisplayPort output
• High-resolution video playback, streaming and professional colour-critical work
• Gaming setups that require 8K/60 Hz or HDR-capable displays

Key specifications

• Certification: DP 8K certified
• Maximum bandwidth: 32.4 Gbps
• Maximum resolution: up to 8K Ultra HD (7680 x 4320 @ 60 Hz)
• HDR support: yes
• Connector 1: USB Type-C
• Connector 2: DisplayPort
• Cable length: 1.5 m

How to use

Connect the USB Type-C end to a device with a compatible USB-C video output or to a USB-C monitor, and connect the DisplayPort end to a monitor, TV or graphics source with a DisplayPort port. The cable supports bidirectional signal transmission, so it can be used in either orientation depending on which device provides the video output. Ensure both devices support the desired resolution and HDR features; set the output resolution and refresh rate in the source device’s display settings if necessary.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable with devices that explicitly support DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C or have native DisplayPort outputs. To achieve 8K at 60 Hz and HDR, verify that both source and display hardware and their cables/adapters support the required bandwidth and settings.
