Cavo USB Vivolink PROUSB3AAF30 USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) 30 m USB A nero

The Vivolink PROUSB3AAF30 is a 30 m USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) active optical cable with USB A connectors at both ends. It supports data transfer rates up to 5 Gbit/s, is compatible with USB 2.0 devices, and has gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity. The black cable is intended for reliable long-distance USB signal transmission where a standard copper cable would not reach.

Advantages

This Vivolink optical USB cable enables long-distance USB 3.2 Gen 1 connections while maintaining up to 5 Gbit/s throughput and backward compatibility with USB 2.0. Gold-plated contacts enhance signal contact quality, and the active optical design reduces signal loss over the 30 m length. The cable uses USB A to USB A connectors, simplifying connection to standard host and device ports that accept A-to-A cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB devices at extended distances (up to 30 m)
• Applications requiring stable 5 Gbit/s USB 3.2 Gen 1 links
• Setups where copper cables cannot provide reliable signal quality
• Compatibility with USB 2.0 equipment

How to use

Connect one USB A plug to the host (PC, hub or other USB host) and the other USB A plug to the USB device. Ensure both ends are firmly seated. Perform a connection test before permanent installation to verify device recognition and data throughput, since some USB 3.0 products on the market may not accept fiber-based extensions. No special drivers are normally required; the cable functions as an active optical extension for standard USB protocols.

Recommendations

Before final installation, test the cable with the specific host and device to confirm full USB 3.2 Gen 1 functionality. If the connected equipment does not accept fiber extension, consider alternative cabling or a different device configuration.
