Advantages

This 15 m Vivolink cable delivers high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer over an extended distance while maintaining signal integrity via optical fiber construction. The built-in converter enables backward compatibility with USB 2.0 devices and allows connection between USB-C conference equipment and USB-A hubs or PCs. Its robust design and standard connectors simplify installation in professional AV and meeting-room environments.

How to use

Connect the USB-C end to the conference camera or other USB-C equipped device and the USB-A end to a hub or directly to a PC. Ensure the host device supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 to achieve up to 5 Gbit/s; if not, the converter will fall back to USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 speeds as supported by the devices. Route the cable securely to avoid sharp bends and interference with AV equipment.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable in environments free from excessive mechanical stress and avoid tight bends near the connectors. Verify compatibility with your conference hardware (for example, Logitech devices) and ensure connected hosts or hubs support the required USB speeds.
