Cesoia per rami Gardena 8773-20

The GARDENA Comfort Ratchet Lopper SmartCut is an anvil-style lopper designed for efficient pruning of branches. It features ratchet technology that engages automatically when direct cutting is insufficient, enabling the tool to cut through stronger branches and hard wood in up to four steps. The tool includes a precision-ground upper blade with a non-stick coating and an aluminium anvil. Oval handles and ergonomic soft grips provide stability and comfortable handling. The product is covered by a 25-year warranty.

Advantages

The ratchet mechanism reduces effort by dividing a cut into multiple steps, allowing clean, controlled cuts on thicker or harder wood. The precision-ground blade and non-stick coating improve cutting quality and reduce sticking. The aluminium anvil contributes to durable, precise anvil-style cuts while keeping weight low. Oval handles increase stability during use, and soft ergonomic grips enhance comfort for extended tasks.

Suitable for

• Pruning small to medium branches on garden trees and shrubs
• Cutting harder wood where progressive ratchet cutting is helpful
• Routine garden maintenance and shaping of hedges and bushes

How to use

Position the blade around the branch and apply steady pressure on the handles. For thicker or harder branches, allow the ratchet mechanism to engage: make successive handle closures until the cut is complete. After cutting, wipe the blade to remove sap and debris and store the lopper in a dry place. Inspect the blade and anvil periodically and sharpen or service according to GARDENA recommendations when cutting performance decreases.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves and eye protection). For branches near the stated diameter limits, make several progressive ratchet strokes rather than forcing a single cut. Clean the blade after use and keep the tool dry to prolong service life.
