Chiave universale a gradini Rothenberger Industrial 073298E — chiave regolabile multigradino per tubi e valvole

Rothenberger Industrial universal step wrench 073298E — adjustable multi-step pipe and valve spanner is a compact hand tool designed to grip and turn pipes, fittings and valve heads across a range of diameters. The stepped openings on a single body allow the user to engage several nominal sizes without swapping wrenches, supporting faster on-site adjustments for plumbing, HVAC and general maintenance work. Constructed for practical field use, the tool is intended to reduce the need to carry multiple fixed-size spanners.

Advantages

The adjustable multi-step design provides multiple engagement points in one compact tool, enabling quick adaptation to different pipe and valve sizes. Its robust construction ensures reliable mechanical contact and torque transfer while remaining lightweight for portability. The single-piece stepped jaw reduces downtime caused by searching for the correct size and lowers tool inventory requirements. The ergonomic handle and compact profile improve access in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Plumbing repairs and installations on various nominal pipe diameters
• HVAC maintenance, including valve adjustment and fitting manipulation
• Industrial and workshop maintenance where multiple spanner sizes are needed
• On-site service work requiring compact, versatile hand tools

How to use

Select the stepped opening that closely matches the pipe or valve head diameter. Position the wrench so the step fully engages the flat or round surface to ensure secure contact. Apply steady force to turn the pipe or valve, keeping the tool aligned with the axis of rotation to avoid slippage. For tight fittings, use controlled, incremental force rather than sudden impact. After use, wipe the tool clean and store it dry to maintain function and longevity.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment and follow standard safety procedures for hand tools. Avoid using the step wrench on heavily damaged or rounded fittings where gripping surfaces are compromised. For very high torque requirements, consider using a tool designed for higher torque ratings to prevent tool or workpiece damage.
