The Bachmann 917.2271 power strip combines multiple AC sockets with integrated USB A and USB C charging ports delivering a combined 22W output. Designed for home and office environments, this multi-socket power extension centralizes power delivery for computers, monitors, lamps and other electrical devices while simultaneously charging phones, tablets and accessories without requiring separate USB adapters. The compact footprint and organised outlet arrangement help reduce cable clutter at desks, media centres and workstations.

Advantages

This Bachmann multi-socket power extension provides both mains power outlets and USB charging in a single unit, reducing the need for additional chargers and freeing wall sockets. The presence of a USB-C port alongside USB-A enables direct charging of modern mobile devices and accessories with a shared total charging capacity of 22W. Its design is suitable for permanent placement on or under desks, in living-room media setups or at compact workstations, helping to centralize connections and improve cable management.

How to use

Place the Bachmann power strip on a stable surface close to the devices you intend to power. Connect the power strip to a mains outlet, then plug your AC appliances into the available sockets. Use the USB-A or USB-C port to charge phones, tablets or USB-powered accessories — the ports share a combined 22W output, so charging speed may vary depending on the number of devices connected. Ensure devices and cables are seated securely and avoid overloading the unit beyond typical household device draws.

Recommendations

For safe and reliable operation, use the power strip indoors, keep it away from liquids and heat sources, and do not cover ventilation areas. When charging multiple devices, distribute loads between mains sockets and USB ports to avoid reduced charging performance. Regularly inspect cables and connections and unplug the unit during prolonged absence or maintenance.
