Componenti per dispositivi di sicurezza ABUS FU7300W IP65 con filo bianco 2 m

The ABUS FU7300W is a potential-free passive glass break detector designed to monitor individual window panes. It requires no operating voltage, uses an integrated piezo element to detect the ultrasound frequencies produced by breaking glass, and switches a CMOS relay in the event of an alarm. The device is IP65 rated and supplied with a 2 m cable for connection to compatible alarm systems, making it suitable for wired or wireless alarm installations when used with appropriate wireless opening detectors.

Advantages

The detector operates without an external power supply, reducing installation complexity and making it compatible with battery-powered wireless systems via suitable interfaces. Its IP65 protection class allows installation in environments where dust and water resistance is required. The compact, lightweight housing and 2 m cable permit flexible mounting close to the glass pane while maintaining reliable acoustic detection up to a 2 m radius and covering an area of up to 4 m² when positioned in a corner.

Suitable for

• Monitoring single window panes in residential or commercial premises
• Integration with wired alarm panels that accept potential-free inputs
• Use with wireless opening detectors (e.g., FU5120/FU5121) as part of a wireless alarm solution
• Installations requiring IP65-rated components (outdoor-facing windows, humid areas)

Key specifications

• Model: ABUS FU7300W
• Protection class: IP65
• Detection range: up to 4 m² coverage; maximum radius 2 m
• Power: potential-free (no operating voltage required)
• Sensing element: integrated piezo element
• Output: CMOS relay (potential-free contact)
• Cable length: 2 m
• Dimensions: 18 x 18 x 9 mm
• Weight: approx. 40 g

How to use

Mount the detector directly onto the glass pane to be protected, keeping it between 20 and 50 mm from the window frame. Ensure the detector is fixed so that loss of contact with the pane is immediately noticeable and route the 2 m cable so it is not pinched or damaged by normal window movement. For corner mounting, position the detector in a window corner to achieve up to 4 m² monitoring area; the effective monitoring radius is up to 2 m. Connect the potential-free output to the alarm panel or to a compatible wireless interface (for use with FU5120/FU5121 detectors) following the alarm system manufacturer’s wiring instructions.

Recommendations

Place the detector where it maintains consistent contact with the glass and where the cable cannot be trapped by the sash. Verify detection during commissioning by simulating glass breakage per the alarm system’s testing procedure and confirm the potential-free contact operation with the connected alarm panel or interface.
