Connettore avvitabile a 4 poli con scarico di trazione, ShiverPeaks BS55201

ShiverPeaks BS55201 is a 4‑pole screwable connector with integrated strain relief designed for secure cable-mounted electrical connections. It features four screw terminals that clamp conductors reliably and a built-in strain relief that reduces mechanical stress on wires and terminations. The compact footprint and standard 4‑pole layout make it suitable for installations where a small, robust screw-terminal interface is needed.

Advantages

The connector provides reliable mechanical retention through screw-secured contacts and an integrated strain relief that protects terminations from pulling and bending forces. Its straightforward screw-terminal design allows for easy assembly and on-site servicing without special tools. The compact size supports space-efficient wiring runs and straightforward integration into panels, enclosures, or housings requiring a 4‑pole connection.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Industrial control wiring and terminal point connections
• Sensor and instrumentation signal wiring
• Audio and low-voltage signal cabling
• Field service and maintenance tasks requiring easy re-termination

Key specifications

• Number of poles: 4
• Termination type: screw clamp terminals for solid and stranded conductors
• Integrated strain relief to reduce mechanical stress on conductors
• Compact rectangular housing suitable for cable-mounted applications
• Suitable for low-voltage signal and control circuits

How to use

Strip the conductor insulation to the recommended length, open each screw terminal, insert the conductor fully into the clamp and tighten the screws to the manufacturer’s recommended torque. Position the cable so the integrated strain relief grips the jacket, then secure any external cable management to avoid excessive bending at the entry point. For disconnection or re-termination, loosen the screws and withdraw the conductors; re-tighten screws after reinsertion to ensure a secure contact.

Recommendations

Verify conductor cross-section compatibility with the screw terminals and use the correct screwdriver size to avoid damage. Avoid exposing the connector to chemicals, excessive moisture, or temperatures beyond the component’s rated range. For vibration-prone environments, confirm screw connections periodically and use appropriate cable routing to minimize mechanical load on the strain relief.
