Connettore coassiale BNC ShiverPeaks BS98805

The ShiverPeaks BS98805 is a BNC coaxial connector designed to provide reliable, low-loss connections for video and RF signal transmission. Supplied as a single piece with two BNC interfaces, this compact connector is suitable for integrating into professional AV, broadcast and test equipment where stable coaxial coupling and mechanical durability are required.

Advantages

The connector delivers consistent electrical contact and minimal signal attenuation thanks to its BNC coupling design and precision contacts. Its robust construction supports frequent connect/disconnect cycles and maintains shielding continuity to reduce interference. The single-piece format simplifies installation and minimizes the number of separate components needed for a compact signal path.

Suitable for

• Video surveillance and CCTV systems
• Broadcast and professional audio/video setups
• RF test and measurement equipment
• Studio patch panels and signal distribution
• Laboratory and educational electronics projects

Key specifications

• Connector type: BNC coaxial
• Number of interfaces: two BNC connectors (single-piece assembly)
• Application: video and RF signal transmission
• Signal performance: designed for low insertion loss and good shielding
• Mechanical design: durable housing suitable for repeated use
• Format: inline/adapter style for easy integration into cabling systems

How to use

Align the BNC plug with the corresponding socket and push the connector in until the bayonet coupling engages. Rotate the outer sleeve to lock the connection securely and ensure firm electrical contact. To disconnect, rotate the sleeve counterclockwise and pull the plug straight out. For inline installations, route cabling to avoid sharp bends and secure the connector to prevent strain on the cable and mating interfaces.

Recommendations

Use the connector in environments that match its intended application — video and RF systems — and avoid exposure to excessive moisture or corrosive atmospheres. Verify compatibility with cable impedance and equipment inputs to maintain optimal signal integrity. Periodically inspect contacts and housings for wear and clean with appropriate, non-abrasive contact cleaner when necessary.
